Missions
At First Baptist Lutz, we believe that one of the most important ways we connect people to God is through missions. Christ called His disciples in Acts 1:8 to go out, share the gospel, and make disciples… first in their local community, but ultimately to the ends of the earth.
Whether it is through your prayer, your gifts, or your participation, there are plenty of opportunities to GET INVOLVED!
LOCAL & STATE MISSIONS
In Acts 1:8, Christ commanded His disciples to begin building His kingdom first within the context of their local community of Jerusalem, then to their greater regional community of Judea. We follow this model by offering chances to serve with many local ministries, as well as getting involved in state-wide mission opportunities.
NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS
Ultimately, Christ called His disciples to build His kingdom out, beginning with their greater national region of Samaria, then moving to the ends of the earth. From direct missions to places like Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Haiti, to financial contributions to many national and international organizations and missionaries, we are committed living out the entirety of the call in Acts 1:8.
