How is God calling you?
In Genesis 12, God called Abram to pack up everything and move to a place God would show him. And Abraham did it! We read in Genesis 12:4, “So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.” I have been thinking about Abraham packing up and going to an unknown place because God had called him. What faith and trust in the Lord.
I have been thinking: “Would we go and do what God calls us to do?” God is still calling and speaking into people’s lives in America and worldwide. We are seeing teenagers and adults being called into ministry and missions. We see people being called to serve in the church and the communities they live within. God is calling us and speaking into our lives still today!
God is calling people out of darkness into salvation. God is calling people to have Gospel conversations. God is calling people to serve within the local church.
How is God calling you? What is God calling you to do?
Here are some examples of how God has been calling people within FBC Lutz recently:
- Salvation
- Joining our church
- To serve in a ministry in our church
- Talk to someone about the Gospel and have Gospel Conversations
Would you ask God, “God, what are you calling me to do today, this week, etc?”
